Ghips Affiliate Program
Program terms.
Written to be read. If something here is unclear, email wholesale@eatghips.com and we will answer plainly.
What this is.
This page is the agreement between you and Ghips. You accept it when you submit your application, and the version that applies to you is the one posted here on the day you accept. If you have signed a separate written agreement with us — some Founding-tier and paid partnerships do — that agreement controls wherever the two differ.
Who can join.
You must be at least eighteen years old and able to receive payment in the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom. There is no follower minimum. We accept and decline applications at our discretion, and we do accept accounts that are new or small if the content is real. Every application is read by a person, and you will hear back within three business days either way.
Employees of Ghips and their immediate households are not eligible to earn commission.
What you earn.
Commission is paid on the product subtotal of a qualifying order, after any discount is applied and before shipping and tax. Tiers are 10% at Affiliate, 15% at Partner, and 20% at Founding.
Tier is reviewed on the first of each month and set by the number of qualifying orders you drove in the previous thirty days: ten or more moves you to Partner, twenty-five or more moves you to Founding. Tiers can move down as well as up, and we will always tell you before that happens.
Your discount code takes 15% off for your audience at every tier. That number does not move when your commission does.
Wholesale referrals earn 10% of the order value on accounts you open, for twelve months from that account’s first order. Office subscription referrals earn a flat $50 once the subscription activates.
Accepted affiliates are also eligible for our TikTok Shop creator program, which pays 20% on orders placed inside TikTok and is governed by TikTok’s own creator terms alongside these. That 20% is separate from your tier rate here, not added to it.
Product we send you.
Accepted affiliates get a starter pack on us. Partner and Founding tiers get product sent every month for as long as they hold that tier, without having to ask. Founding partners also taste flavors before they launch.
Anything we send is a gift, not a purchase, and it does not earn commission. If we ask you to hold a pre-launch flavor until a date, please hold it — early access only works if that holds.
Free product counts the same way commission does under United States law: it is a material connection, and it has to be disclosed. See below.
Things you learn early.
Early access means you sometimes know things before the public does: unreleased flavors, packaging, launch dates, pricing, and anything else we tell you and mark as confidential. Keep those to yourself until we announce them, or until we tell you the embargo has lifted.
This holds while you are in the program and for two years after you leave. It does not cover anything that becomes public on its own, anything you already knew, or anything you are legally required to disclose.
How orders get attributed to you.
Your tracked link sets a thirty-day window from a customer’s first click. Any order that customer places in that window is yours, whether or not they use your code. Your discount code is attributed to you whenever it is applied, with no time limit.
If two affiliates could claim the same order, the most recent click wins. A code applied at checkout overrides a link click.
Orders placed by you, on your own account or with your own code, do not earn commission.
When you get paid.
Commission is earned when an order ships and confirmed once its return window has closed. Confirmed commission pays out automatically through Shopify Collabs once your balance clears $25. Balances below that roll forward.
Before your first payout we need a completed W-9 if you are in the United States, or a W-8BEN if you are not. We cannot pay you without it, and it is the most common reason a first payment is late.
If an order is refunded, cancelled, charged back, or found to be fraudulent, its commission is reversed. If a reversal happens after payout, it is deducted from your next balance.
Your Collabs dashboard is the record. If something in it looks wrong, tell us within sixty days of the day it appeared and we will look into it and fix anything that is ours.
Your discount code.
Your code is yours to share with your audience. It does not combine with other discount codes. It does work alongside our free U.S. shipping over $99.
Codes are for your own audience. Submitting your code to coupon aggregators, deal forums, browser extensions, cashback sites, or paid coupon directories is the fastest way to lose it, because those placements take credit for sales you did not create.
Saying you are an affiliate.
United States law requires you to disclose that you earn from a link or code, and to do it clearly, in the post itself, where someone will actually see it. On short-form video that means on screen and ideally said out loud. Buried hashtags at the end of a caption do not count.
The same goes for product we send you. If the bag arrived free, say so — “sent to me by Ghips” or “#gifted” in the post itself is enough.
We would rather you overshare this than get it wrong. It has never cost anyone a sale.
What you can and cannot claim.
Say anything true. Fried in grass-fed ghee. No seed oils. Certified organic potatoes. Small batches, shipped fresh. All accurate, all yours to use. One to watch: “three ingredients” is true of Sea Salt Original only — Black Truffle, Churro and Sea Salt & Balsamic have five each, so do not put that line on them.
Do not make health or medical claims. That means nothing suggesting Ghips treats, cures, prevents, or reduces the risk of any disease or condition, no claims about weight loss, inflammation, blood sugar, gut health, or hormones, and no implying a doctor or dietitian recommends the product for a medical purpose. This is not us being cautious — claims like these are regulated for food, and one post can create a real problem for a brand this size.
Do not describe Ghips as free from an allergen or ingredient unless our packaging says so.
Using our name, and us using your posts.
While you are in the program you may use the Ghips name, logo, and product photos to promote the products. That permission covers only that purpose, it is not exclusive, we can withdraw it, and it ends when your participation does. Do not alter the logo, do not register a domain, handle, or trademark containing our name, and do not present yourself as speaking for Ghips.
Going the other way: you keep ownership of everything you make. By posting about Ghips you give us permission to reuse that content on our own channels with credit, free of charge and without a time limit. If you would rather we did not use a particular post, tell us and we will take it down.
Things that end the relationship.
Bidding on “Ghips,” “eatghips,” or close variants in paid search, or running ads that send traffic to a URL made to look like ours. Buying traffic, clicks, followers, or installs. Cookie stuffing or any automated link injection. Registering domains or social handles containing our name. Impersonating Ghips or claiming to speak for us. Sending unsolicited email or text messages to people who did not ask to hear from you. Posting content that is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or aimed at children.
Any of these ends your participation and forfeits unpaid commission.
Leaving.
You can leave whenever you want. We can end it too, with seven days’ notice by email — immediately if the rules above have been broken outright. If you leave in good standing, commission already confirmed is still paid. Your links and codes stop working on the day the account closes.
Changes.
We will email you at least fifteen days before changing commission rates or tier thresholds, and the change will never apply retroactively to sales you have already made. Everything else here we may update as the program grows, with the current version always posted on this page.
If something goes wrong.
We are responsible for paying you what you have earned under these terms. We are not responsible for indirect or knock-on losses — lost followers, lost future income, a platform suspending your account, or a campaign that did not perform the way you hoped. Whatever we could owe you in total is capped at the commission we paid you over the twelve months before the problem came up.
If someone brings a claim against us because of something you posted, because a required disclosure was missing, or because a rule on this page was broken, we will ask you to cover what that costs us. That is the only situation where this applies.
The rest.
You are an independent partner, not an employee, agent, or representative of Ghips, and you are responsible for your own taxes. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and anything that cannot be worked out between us goes to the state or federal courts there.
This page, together with the program page it links to, is the whole agreement between us, and it replaces anything discussed beforehand. We can transfer it to whoever buys or merges with Ghips; you cannot transfer yours without asking us first. If any single line here turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of it still stands. Confidentiality, disclosure, the liability section, and anything owed back on a reversed order all keep applying after you leave.
